Description:
Prospective students are invited to audition for admission into the University of Louisiana at Lafayette Dance Program through a half-day experience designed to showcase their technical ability, artistry, and potential.
Audition day begins with check-in at 8:30 a.m., followed by an opportunity to meet the dance faculty and learn more about the program. Applicants then participate in both a Ballet and Modern technique class, which serve as the official audition. The day concludes at 1:00 p.m.
The audition provides faculty with a comprehensive view of each dancer's technical foundation, musicality, performance quality, and readiness for collegiate dance training.
